What is sixsided?

sixsided is an indie-first marketplace for paid TTRPG sessions with professional Game Masters (GMs). We optimise for discoverability, trust, and reliability so players and GMs can find and book great games.

Who is sixsided for?

  • Players who want to explore the wealth of experiences TTRPGs offer. Who want to play at tables with clear expectations: inclusive, safe and reliable.
  • GMs who want a professional platform: bookings, payments, protection, and reputation signals that drive discovery.

Where is sixsided available?

At launch: UK-based GMs only.

Players can be international if they can match the UTC-based schedule.

Online or in-person games?

Online-first at launch.

IRL is out of scope while we work with the community on the best model (not to mention the legal & insurance requirements).

What time slots are available at launch?

We are building a community from the groupd-up. Limited slots help maximise the number of players who can attend a session.

What games are supported at launch?

Provisional launch set:

Other systems will be added in the future. We will be working with the community to identify the most exciting systems to support.

How are bookings handled?

If a session is advertised as bookable on sixsided, every attending player must be booked through sixsided. This is how we maintain accountability and safety on the platform.

Can a GM ask me to pay via PayPal/bank transfer for a sixsided booking?

No. If it's advertised and bookable through sixsided, it must be paid through sixsided. Redirecting payment off-platform for a sixsided-originated booking is circumvention.

Can we take a sixsided campaign off-platform after the first session?

No. Any relationship established on sixsided stays on sixsided for that campaign/series.

GMs can advertise one-shots and campaigns on sixsided, and we optimise for long-form play and repeat tables.

Why would I keep paying on-platform?

Because on-platform sessions unlock:

  • Verified Sessions (reviews, session history, ranking signals)
  • dispute handling + chargeback support
  • automated refunds (when warranted)
  • enforceable no-show rules and reliability tracking

Off-platform = not Verified, not protected.

How are refunds handled?

  • If a GM cancels or materially misrepresents a session: refunds are guaranteed.
  • Player no-shows are governed by a 48h cancellation policy.
  • We at sixsided are committed to platform policies and rules which make refunds rare, and pain free.
  • Credits may be offered at discretion.

What happens if someone no-shows?

Defaults:

  • GM no-show / session not delivered: full refund
  • Player no-show: typically no refund (unless there's strong evidence of platform fault)

Grace periods:

  • Player: 10 min
  • GM: 10 min

Can I book a whole table for friends who don't have accounts?

Yes. We support a Table Captain model:

  • One person books + pays for all seats
  • Guests join via a secure link (name + email + safety pledge)
  • The Captain assumes responsibility for guest conduct

No “split tables” or unbooked invitees

  • No unbooked attendees
  • No “one person pays and others just show up”

Are GMs employees of sixsided?

No. GMs are treated as independent sellers.
